Bulls sign a second USA player, ex NZL Breakers

Franklin-Bulls (NBL) tabbed 29-year old American 200cm forward Jamaal Brantley (college: Cameron) for new season. Brantley joins another USA player Rickey McGill who is already on the roster.
He played 2 games for NZL Breakers in Australian NBL league in 2022-23 alongside his brother, Utah Jazz player Jarrell Brantley. He ended the last season at Friday Beers in U.S. semi-pro league TBT where in two games he recorded 11.5ppg, 3.5rpg, 2.0apg, 2.5spg and 1.0bpg. But the most of that year he spent at Mavericks in U.S. semi-pro league TBL. In 21 games he averaged 6.4ppg, 4.4rpg and 1.1apg. Brantley contributed to his team winning the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place.
In 2017 (a year after his graduation) he was drafted by Raptors 905 Missisauga (G-League) in third round (78th overall).
He graduated from Cameron University in 2016 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball.
Brantley is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in France (Tursan Elan), Georgia (Orbi), Portugal (Angra) and TBL (Carolina Coyotes).
Brantley is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market.
